My Glade Expressions

When you go to enhance the smell of your home and to give it a fragrance that inspires and comforts, you don't always expect to have something that appeals to the eye as well. Glade expressions does just that! Both the spray and the diffuser come in a lovely style that actually add to the charm and beauty of your home visually as well as appealing to your sense of smell. I couldn't believe how pretty the diffuser was when I went to purchase this product. It is a gorgeous design offered in two different tones, creamy white and bamboo. Each of these is sure to compliment any decor in style.

Not only are these products made to enhance my home's decor but the scents are wonderful and fill up any home with amazing warmth without overpowering or being cloying. I had so many compliments on my home fragrance in the last month and so many people felt like the scent was homey and inviting. I love how it isn't too strong but it really does fill the room. I have never had a diffuser work so well - usually I don't want a diffuser in my living room and that is just where I put this particular diffuser. I felt safe with its no spill and beautiful design. And I was impressed that even tho I have a large living space, the diffuser successfully filled it with a lovely smell. I am so excited that I got to try this product free from bzzagent and that it works so well and is so elegant. I intend to purchase the other style as well as the other fragrances for year around appeal and fresh scent.

Final Days for a coupon!!

I just wanted to update you all on my campaign from Bzzagent with Covergirl and Olay that provides "Luminous coverage for ageless, radiant looking skin". I have absolutely loved using this stuff in the last month and recently posted a review of the product with my before and after pictures. This stuff has made my skin soft and it definitely looks younger and more radiant over all. I wasn't sure that a makeup product could cover and enhance my skin all in the same step, but this set of products has done just that! Over the last month I have used the foundation and the powder and both products are exceptional. The foundation provides a weightless and soft finish to my skin and eluminates as it conceals. Over the past month of wearing it, my skin has definitely healed and has fewer lines and wrinkles - this product seems to make my skin look about 10 years younger. I even got carded while wearing it this month!! That absolutely made my day!

I have also used the powder that corresponds with this foundation and I loved it! So easy to apply and it gave my skin a lovely matte finish without dulling my skin or falling into any creases in my face. It also wore well for the day! It didn't look tacky or blotchy by the end of an eight hour day! I say that is the best powder to be able to achieve that! I highly recommend this set of products! I know you won't be disappointed and your skin can only stand to improve with the use of these new and wonderful offerings from Covergirl and Olay.

McCormick Party!!!

Last week I had my McCormick party and what a great time it was! Crowdtap and McCormick sent me a beautiful array of spices and seasonings to get my party started. So I sent out my invitations and accented the fact that we were going to be sampling some fantastic seasonings on some great grilled meat. Of course I got alot of great chatter just from that! Who doesn't love a great grill out BBQ!!!
Now it was time to go shopping. I found some great cuts of steak, and chicken and even decided to do some burgers so everyone could have what they wanted.

I chose the marinade or rub for each meat. I decided that I would use the Montreal Steak seasoning on the steak. I rubbed each side of the steak and placed it in a glass pan to do its thing.

I decided to use the marinade for the chicken and then serve the BBQ sauce on the side.

And lastly the burgers! I used the Molasses Bacon seasoning and an egg and that was it. I thought it smelled good and I was excited to see what these would taste like cooked.

Then I got my husband to get his grill on! I cooked the burgers indoors on my counter grill to help speed up the process since we had hungry anxious guests to feed. It smelled amazing as everything was cooking and I had to put out some finger snacks to keep everyone calm as we got ready for our amazing BBQ meal.

It was a fantastic party and everyone had a great time. The comments I heard the most were "This is so delicious!" and "Very tasty". I think everyone was also impressed that this took me very little time to prepare. As one of my friends said, minimal prep is key to enjoying your own party! And she was so right. I had a great time and I wasn't spending hours making marinades and doing things to please my guests. These McCormick products made their own party and made my guests really happy. Thank you Crowdtap and McCormick for a fantastic time!

The new Glade Expressions

I am loving the new Glade Expressions line that I received as a free sample from bzzagent a few weeks ago. The smells are so wonderful and not over the top or fake smelling. They have a warm genuine smell that is really turning my house into a home for fall. I think the thing that impresses me most is how well the diffuser works. I am so used to clunky diffusers and worrying about spilling the oil on my carpet or having my cat knock it over. But with this goof proof, no mess diffuser, my home looks prettier and the smell is dispersed without the danger of spills.

I was also impressed by the strength of the smell without being over powering. Most sprays don't linger very long and most diffusers aren't strong enough to fill up my living room. But both of these products really fill my large great room and yet they aren't overpowering and annoying. I actually have never used a diffuser in that room because it wasn't strong enough to scent my home. But this one is and I love walking into my home at the end of the day and getting a whiff of this amazing product.



I have received several compliments on the smell and how inviting my home is and how it smells like fall. I decided to sample the Fuji apple with cardamon and I am loving it. This is one of the best products Glade has released and I am excited to be among the first to try it. This product is clean smelling, fresh, strong without overpowering a room and lasts a long time. I am pleased that the fragrance lingers in my home for several hours after spraying and for 30 days with the diffuser. Excellent product! Try it! You won't regret it.

Unjunked, Unreal Candy!

As a bzzagent, I was given the awesome opportunity to try this UnJunked, unreal candy! I was a bit skeptical at first. Usually health food, has that "healthy" taste. You know, the this-has-to-be-good-for-me because of a grain or green sort of after taste? But not with this candy. It is still sugar and it is still a treat and it is delicious! But it is made without hydrogenated oils, corn syrup, artificial colors, flavors, and preservatives! What other candy can come close to saying that?!

In all honesty, these are the prettiest candies I have ever seen - real colors that can be found in nature are always much better than fake and commercially made ones. And the taste is similar to an M and M or other candy bar, but actually it seems better! Maybe because of the real ingredients - it doesn't leave you with this cloyingly sweet after taste that is just nasty! I felt like I had actually put some real energy into my body and that made me happy.


I was bummed because I couldn't find this candy to purchase until I looked in the clearance aisle of my local Walgreens. I hope this doesn't mean the end of this fabulous option to sweet treats. But I encourage anyone, if they find it, to buy it! You won't regret it. And you won't feel so guilty enjoying a little afternoon snack candy.

Covergirl anti ages!!

A few weeks ago, I received COVERGIRL & Olay Tone Rehab 2-in-1 Foundation and COVERGIRL & Olay Pressed Powder from Bzzagent to try totally free and see what I thought and how my skin responded. I took the before photo pictured below before I started using it. To be honest, I have started to notice little fine lines in my face and signs of aging that are pretty discouraging.

For all of you who are wondering, I am 35 years old this summer - not super old, but old enough to notice some signs that my skin is not as young as it used to be. So I was ecstatic to try this product and see if it would indeed help my skin and fade those little lines a bit. I have not been disappointed. First of all, the short term results are beautiful porcelain skin with discolorations muted and just an overall, flawless finish! I was so happy! But as the weeks have progressed, my skin has responded beautifully to this product and it honestly looks younger and more radiant, and definitely healthier! It is so exciting to find a product that can do that for your skin! And the awesome thing is, it is NOT another product that you have to buy - it is something that I wear every day anyway! I wear makeup everyday without fail and now I am doing something great for my skin while I am doing something I would do anyway! That is a pretty great product if you ask me! Great book with a fun story and engaging plot

I received this book as a freebie from bzzagent! I was so excited to get to preview this book before it was released to the general public. I really enjoyed the Dark Monk for several reasons – it was an engaging fast paced book with all the elements that comprise a good story. It contained mystery that kept you guessing until the very end and romance, action and even highway robbery! All in all the story is wonderfully done and keeps you addicted until the last page. My only complaint is that the story line seemed better suited to this day and age instead of about 400 years ago. It seemed like the main characters easily digressed from their lives in pursuit of treasure and excitement rather than how I imagine they would have been forced to live their lives during this time period.

That said, the book is fun and I enjoyed it a lot. There are three main characters in this book – Simon the town Medic, Jacob, the town hangman and his daughter, Magdalena, a fiery woman with lots of personality to keep the story engaging. She and Simon are each other’s love interests and they quarrel about things in a cute way that makes you really feel their love for each other and feel bad that they let silly differences divide them.

The story begins with an attention getting murder of the local priest and the start of a search for the legendary Templar treasure. I have always loved the stories that surround the Templar Treasure and the intrigue that surrounds that. So this story was enjoyable for that reason. This book has enough twists and turns and “I-didn’t-see-that-coming” moments to keep the reader interested. I would recommend this book for a light hearted read and several enjoyable afternoons.
